OU Cross Village
OU Cross Village was a 1,000 bed dorm and my first design-build contract. The intent was to try and achieve the architectural detail precedent OU set with the Headington Hall project which Studio did prior to my arrival at the firm in 2013.
Studio teamed up with Clark Nexen out of North Carolina. Studio performed the core and shell AOR part of the contract and Clark Nexen provided the staffing and large project expertise.
JeDunn was the design-build contractor and guided the team to use the Prescient Pre-Manufactured Stud Wall system for all framing of the building from the podium level up. The podium level was conventionally framed. I was the primary coordinator with Prescient's structural engineers.
The renderings are my own work using Revit, 3ds Max, & Vray. The drawings represent Studio scope on the project. A few images show the typical shop drawings and model integration we worked through during coordination with the Prescient team.
Project Cost: $100 million
Project Characteristics: 1,000 beds across 4 buildings | FEMA shelter | 2 Restaurants| 1,000 space Parking Garage
