OSU Engineering South - Admin Study

OSU Long range asked Studio to study how they might convert the Engineering South building to a new CEAT admin center with an addon housing new lecture halls.  The goal of this study was to identify program that could fit the existing modules of the building and identify areas of improvement for the shell, structure, and mechanical systems.  The age of the building meant we had to contend with triple wythe brick walls, mechanical rooms that didn't meet codes, and brownfield conditions from the existing basement and hydraulic engineering labs it once housed.

I produced the proposal with the help of a third party estimator and oversight from the LRFP staff at OSU.  The conceptual renderings and floor plans were my own work.  Project timeline was 2 weeks.  The visuals were created using a mix of Rhino, Revit & Enscape.
